Specialized content + editing services for Go Thrive Go

Launched in early 2024, Go Thrive Go is a self-guided recovery tool designed to support survivors of trauma and abuse as they heal and, eventually, thrive.

As a content writer, specialized project consultant, and editor, I developed a library of over 60 informative articles to support those navigating or recovering from traumatic experiences.

I also provided other project support by proofreading website content, populating an interactive service database, and offering user-experience feedback.

OTHER WORK — Writing

  • Since 2021, I have helped hundreds of musicians and artists from around the world tell their stories through professional bio writing and music and art reviews. For some examples, check out Icelandic-Ukrainian band My Favorite War on Bandcamp to read the reviews I wrote for their 2022 and 2023 albums. (Fun fact! From 2015 to 2020, I worked as an independent musician, traveling the country and the world in multiple bands. I also recorded and released my own original music via my 2020 album cry if you need to, which received international acclaim upon its release. Having performed in some of the most legendary venues in the country sharing stages with big names in the folk industry like Devil Makes Three, Sierra Ferrell, and Amythyst Kiah, I bring keen insight and passion to my music writing — and I absolutely love working with musicians from a variety of genres.)

  • 2023 — In addition to the work highlighted above for AisleOfShame.com, I also produced dozens of SEO content articles about USPS, FedEx, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Harbor Freight, Target, and more. These included product reviews, in-depth answers to frequently searched questions and PAAs, and deep dives into company information relevant to consumers, employees, and prospective employees. While working with this client, I also assisted with keeping SEO protocols and procedures up to date based on the ever-developing Google standards for search results, assisted with editing and quality control for content written by other writers, and conducted market research to find high-performing topics and PAAs for articles. My article output ranged from 10-30 articles per week — all high quality, high performing, well-researched, and written without the use of AI.

  • Since 2022, I’ve produced a range of travel- and outdoors-related SEO blogs for a variety of publications, including ROVA Magazine, Pilot Plans, and The Planet Edit. These stories combine in-depth research with my real-life experiences as a world traveler, touring musician, and digital nomad. (Please note: some of this content was ghostwritten and does not show my name or byline as a result.)

  • In 2022, I produced a range of music-related content for indie music blog TopFiveRecords.com, including a feature piece remembering the late Mark Lanegan.

  • In 2022, I wrote several special-interest pieces for art and culture blog 2fifty9.co, including this feature about legendary female rock climber Mari Augusta Salvesen and this one about the important cultural work of the Black Banjo Reclamation Project.

  • In 2022, I worked as a content writer and blog manager for the now defunct indie music blog Crispy Zebra Experience. During that time, I produced dozens of music-related articles including album reviews, retrospectives, artist spotlights, and more. This work focused primarily on the foundations of the modern rock, punk, and psychedelic genres.

  • In 2022, I produced a series of topical blogs for MD-owned natural products company ReiSHE Herbal, including this article about managing hot flashes naturally.

  • In 2022, I served as a website content and case study copywriter for PixelBull, a popular NYC startup.

  • In 2022, I contributed as a political writer and commentator during the early development stages of experimental social media news site LeftRight.News.

  • In 2022, I served as a freelance website and email copywriter to several independent businesses, including a photography studio, natural products marketing firm, and several tech and SaaS marketing departments.

  • From 2021 to 2022, I offered application and letter writing services to non-native English speakers seeking employment and study opportunities in the US.

  • In 2022, I served as a social media copywriter for a high-end personal security company located in Dubai.

  • In 2022, I provided industry-specific copywriting services for several natural products companies — website content, product descriptions, ad copy, and more.

  • Since 2021, I’ve been hired to write a variety of miscellaneous SEO content blogs on topics including home improvement, public records acquisition, and sleep/mattress retail.

Please note that my work has been published under several variations of my name, including Dana Hubanks, Dana Eubanks, and Dana Anastasia.
